Soy wax is non-toxic and burns significantly cleaner than paraffin, producing no petrol-carbon soot which can blacken walls, ceilings, and furniture, as well as emit toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe.
Long Burning
Soy candles burn slower and cooler than paraffin wax, creating a longer burning candle. This means they burn 30 to 50 percent longer than traditional candles. With time, the wax will liquefy and eventually evaporate completely. Each Amy's Place Soy candle is 10oz. and burns for up to 55 hrs.
Sustainable Resource
Soy production is a renewable resource, not derived from oil refinement or reliant upon petroleum as paraffin is in the production of traditional candles.
Biodegradable
Since soybeans are vegetable based, soy wax made from soybean oil is naturally biodegradable. Its' soft, creamy texture also makes it easier to remove from materials and surfaces than paraffin wax.
